Pistacia Lentiscus

Pistacia lentiscus is an evergreen shrub or tree of slow growth and long life. It has green, complex foliage and bears red fruit. It likes low altitudes and thrives in coastal areas. Withstands drought, but not frost. The main use of this plant is the production of mastic, which occurs when the trunk cries. It has no special territorial requirements.
