Grapefruit

Grapefruit is an evergreen, slow-growing fruit tree with shiny, green, leathery leaves and a compact appearance. It is not resistant to frost and during its fruiting it needs proper fertilization and watering. It blooms white in spring and golden-yellow or yellow-red, large, spherical fruits that ripen in late autumn. It prefers sunny places, in fertile soils and not calcareous.
